They hide in little sand caves and under the beach huts, only visible if you’re armed with a torch. Come morning, the only traces you’ll find are squiggly tracks in the sand, criss crossing all over the place.
The original painting was created using watercolours, charcoal and graphite pencil. The background shells were digitally illustrated and then all combined into the repeating pattern you see before you.
