Red Maple Leaf Watercolour
Autumn is one of my favourite times of the year. The constantly changing colour of the leaves are spectacular. Hold up a maple leaf like this one to the clear blue skies and you’ll see a wondrous array of shades of red seem to glow through the leaf.
This original watercolour was painted on 300gsm rough watercolour paper which has a slight texture to it.
This unique painting would be a lovely addition to any home, whatever the season, but most especially now, when you can see the same colours reflected through your windows from the Autumn trees outside.
