An original watercolour painting of a Regal Angelfish.
Angelfish are some of the most popular on the reef for snorkelers and scuba divers. They are brightly coloured with an array of wonderful patterns and often flit about the reef in pairs. The Regal Angelfish is one of my favourite as it has a distinctive design which doesn’t change as dramatically from juvenile to adult. The juveniles have the yellow and white stripes with a blue spot which develops into the larger blue fin as well as the addition of thin blue stripes.
